Merida’s Horse Had a Scare Today During the Parade

The Magic Kingdom reopened to the general public today. During one of the character mini parades Merida and “Angus” rode down Main Street U.S.A.  It appears a toddler tried to run out, but their parent stopped them, however the balloon got away from a child and wrapped around the horses back leg.

The Cast Member playing Merida got quite the ride as the horse panicked. Thanks to the handlers she was able to hold on and dismount. They did get the horse calmed down and reportedly no one was hurt.

YouTuber Bill Zanetti posted a video of the incident.

One thing is for sure. The girl who plays Merida can ride.

I’m glad everyone is safe and unhurt. That’s what matters.
