Walt Disney World guests have not been able to meet their favorite Disney characters since the reopening of the parks in July of 2020. Sure, there have been the cavalcades and the occasional sightings within the parks have been fun, but they are nothing like interacting with a character.
The Meet and Greets with Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater and the Princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall have resumed with a new name, “sightings.”
From photos of those who have already experienced the various “sightings” around Walt Disney World, it seems as if the characters are behind a roped off area that seems to fit with three to six feet of social distancing.

You can see the characters a bit better and get a bit closer compared to the cavalcades and distant viewing. Not exactly the same, but much better.
Mickey is now dressed in his 50th Anniversary finest ready to greet guests in a whole new way. This is exciting news for children and adults of all ages to get to interact with their favorite characters again.
