Are you someone who enjoys doing virtual races? If so Main Street Bella might be something you want to check out. These races are not associated with runDisney and aren’t official, but they do base them on Disney owned IPs and they donate a lot of money to various charities and organizations.

Right now you can register for their latest race that is their take on ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ with an “Awesome Mix tape” as the medal. This is a virtual event so you can do it from your own home or town. Just complete the event between June 24 – June 30, 2022 and submit your finish time.

You can also choose the distance you want to complete with options of a 5K,10K, Half-Marathon (13.1 Miles) or Full-Marathon distance (26.2  Miles.)

About 20% of the proceeds for this race will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and Make-A-Wish.

Here’s the write-up:

“This Guardians inspired race will be held June 24 – June 30, 2022 and is perfect for kids and adults alike. You can receive a finisher medal, race bib and shirt to commemorate your accomplishment. Plus you will be helping people in need. Our charity partners receive 20% of the proceeds from each ticket sold.”

You can choose to complete the race with a bib and medal for $32 or with a racing bib, medal and shirt for $50. (Keep in mind, if you are out of the domestic USA you will need to pay $25 per registration for shipping costs.)

Here is how to complete one of their races:

“Virtual races are just like traditional races with a shirt, race bib, medal, community and fun. But you can run or walk the race wherever you want and with whomever you want. Even on a treadmill! Racers choose their race distance, what type and size of shirt they want and what day they will run their race. You have 10 days during the designated race time to you run your race. Then you record your finish time and submit that time to us at a special check in page we provide. Once your time is submitted we send our your finisher shirt and medal.

1. You register for your spot and choose the swag you want (shirt, medal or both)
2. During the designated event time of the race (June 24 – June 30, 2022) you run a 5K,10K,13.1 or 26.2, whatever you choose. As long as it’s before the end of the race event, you are good to go.
3. You record your time on a smart phone or device.
4. You submit your race time at the link provided with your registration.
5. We post your time on a leader board.
6. Once we receive your race time we send out your items finisher medal. Shirts & bibs are typically sent prior to race week and medals 1-3 week after the race week.”
