If you were interested in the Main Street Bella ‘Hocus Pocus’ themed ‘Black Flame Virtual Race’ registrations are now live for the event.

This is a virtual race that you do in your own home town, at your own pace. Just make sure you do it during the race week that will run October 24- October 31, and you submit your time. You can also choose your distance of 5k, 10k, or 13.1 (half-marathon.)

Here are the steps:

1. You register for your spot and choose the swag you want (shirt, medal or both)
2. The week of the race (August 16th-23rd, 2020) you run a 5K, 10K or 13.1, whatever you choose. As long as its before the end of the race week you are good to go.
3. You record your time on a smart phone or device.
4. You submit your race time at the link provided with your registration.
5. We post your time on a leader board.
6. Once we receive your race time we send out your items (shirt, medal, etc)

This is not a runDisney event, and 20% of the proceeds go to charity. In this case the money is going to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and Make-A-Wish.

Registration for this event is open and it’s limited. You can choose just a medal for $30 or a shirt and an medal for $50.

It’s a 3.5″, antique, silver-finish metal with colorful race ribbon.

Shirts

Shirt come in Men’s, Women’s, Kid’s or Woman’s Tank.

“The Men’s, Women’s & Kids Shirts are lightweight 100% Polyester fabric and are designed to wick moisture quickly.

The Women’s flowy tank tops for women are also moisture wicking and lightweight but made of Polyester and Rayon.

IMPORTANT: The ladies cut is designed to be worn slightly snug. If you don’t like form-fitting shirts, order a size bigger or consider the men’s cut. Please review the size charts listed below.”

Shipping for shirts and medals are free if you are in the United States. International participants will have to pay a flat $25 shipping fee for each ticket.

I have done these races many time. The medals are great, they are fast, plus proceeds go to help charity. I do recommend and use them.  In fact, I already registered for my place first thing this morning.
