Magic Kingdom’s Astro Orbiter Down for Maintenance

Last week the Astro Orbiter closed down for unscheduled maintenance and now Disney had updated their website and app to reflect this.

The current re-opening date is August 15th, as long as nothing else changes.

Please keep this in mind for your travel plans if you are heading to the Magic Kingdom before 8/15.

Right now there are a lot of changes going on in Tomorrowland, including a new sign that will be coming to replace the old one. Other sites hypothesized that while it is down the attraction could be repainted to reflect the new color scheme being added to the area? It makes sense to do that now since the attraction is already down. Time will tell!
