Universal Orlando Resort announced today that Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort would finally be reopening. Beginning May 18, guests will once again be able to experience the Caribbean island vibe at Sapphire Falls.

Universal Orlando Resort Hotels Currently Open

Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort will rejoin the five hotels currently open at Universal Orlando Resort.

• Loews Portofino Bay Hotel
• Hard Rock Hotel
• Loews Royal Pacific Resort
• Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort
• Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites

Still awaiting an official reopen date, Universal’s Aventura Resort and Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites are still temporarily closed. As soon as we do have a date for those, we will be sure to let you know.

Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort Reopening after 5 Months

Previously announced in November 2020, Lowes Sapphire Falls, along with Universal’s Aventura Hotel and Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites, were set to close temporarily on January 1,2021.
This reopening comes on the heels of Jurassic World VelociCoaster announcement opening June 10.

Nevertheless, this is exciting news! We are getting another option for our Universal vacation, as well as, hopefully seeing some of the furloughed Lowes Employees will be able to return to work.
