‘Lando’ Star Wars Series Announced for Disney+, Helmed by ‘Dear White People’ Creator

Donald Glover is apparently returning as a younger Lando Calrissian on Disney+ … someday. Glover first played the role of Calrisssian in 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Justin Simien, creator of “Dear White People,” is attached to the project, which is in the early stages of development. Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy made the announcement via the Disney Investor Day 2020 virtual stream.

Details are sparse, but there’s a tweet…

And… that’s about it.
