If you want to take an adventure about 45 minutes from Walt Disney World, and see some Disney and Universal memorabilia – look no further than the Lakeland Antique Mall. Located in Lakeland, Florida right off Interstate 4, this Antique mall has seemingly endless rows and nearly 40,000 square feet of antiques. While there is something for everyone, the draw of this antique mall is the dearth of Disneyana collectibles.  From framed E-tickets, to cast member name tags, spirit jerseys, and props/signage from all the parks – this place has it all.

Upon walking in, after taking in the sheer size of this place, you will notice glass cases of Disney merchandise. However, in the back of this mall, there are several booths selling large props, signage, Christmas decorations, and furniture from the parks. One of the booths had Universal Orlando Mardi Gras and Halloween Horror Night props including signs from the park for the various events. There were a lot of signs from the Shrek 4D attraction.  In the same areas, you’ll find Disney props from both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. They have furniture from several hotels and the cruise ships. This booth also had many Christmas items used within the parks.

I was entranced by the multitudes of Disney items within all the booths. Yes, there are other items throughout the many aisles. I also collect vintage Pyrex, and I was able to find some decently priced items throughout the mall.

Bring your credit card ready to purchase all the Disney and Universal antiques. The employees at the mall were very friendly and knowledgeable on the various booths throughout the mall.
