When you visit the Walt Disney World Resort you might wonder how tall some of the attractions actually are. Today we are going to take a look at the height of the “mountains of the Magic Kingdom” and other iconic attractions across the Walt Disney World Resort.
No attraction measures over 200 feet tall because the restrictions of the area require them to be below that limit. However, a couple of attractions come within a foot of the height restriction.
Let’s start with the Magic Kingdom.
Cinderella Castle

Cinderella Castle is one of the first things you encounter when you arrive in the Magic Kingdom, but how tall is it?
At water level the castle measures 183 feet tall, but if you go from the base of the moat to the top it is actually 189 feet tall.
The Mountains of the Magic Kingdom
Space Mountain

The iconic Space Mountain measures as tall as Cinderella Castle at 183 feet and is 300 feet in diameter.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

The wildest ride in the wilderness towers over the park with its highest point at 197.5 feet.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Tower of Terror
