We have a bit of good news today. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, that was closed on June 25th, after the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation initiated a mandate that suspended the consumption of alcohol on the premises for bars. This was due to a supposed correlation between increased COVID-19 cases and “bar” type location.
Then on July 3rd it was reported that the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation then amended and clarified to let locations that sold both alcohol and food to reopen IF social distancing protocols and 50% capacity limits stayed in place.
Today WDWNT is reporting that Jock Lindsey’s has reopened at Disney Springs and it looks like they worked this all out just in time for the parks to reopen as well. Some locations could have possibly faced some issues with the first order, but since it has been amended it likely won’t cause many changes to restaurant locations.
According to WDWNT they are offering a QR code that you can scan to see the menu, which they say is the same as it was when it first opened:
At the front of the restaurant, a Cast Member holds a QR code, bringing you to the Walt Disney World Resort menu page for the restaurant. Taking a look at the menu, it appears to be the same limited menu from when the restaurant first reopened.”
You can see a photo of this and the restaurant reopened in their original article HERE.
I think we all will take good news when we can get it!
