The latest Indiana Jones film feels cursed. Filming on Indiana Jones 5 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been derailed yet again due to an outbreak of norovirus, according to reports.

There have reportedly been 50 people sent home after contracting the virus, which causes vomiting and nausea, leaving the Pinewood Studios shoot understaffed. As a source told The Sun newspaper, “The crew have been dropping like flies. There are also a lot off with Covid so it’s a double whammy. Two films have been affected. Over 50 people have been struck down, but luckily that doesn’t include the big stars.”
Indiana Jones 5 has had a very rocky production history. After many delays, filming finally got underway but star Harrison Ford was injured just a few days into the shoot.
The latest rumor surrounding what is expected to be Ford’s last outing as the beloved archeologist is that Indiana Jones will ride off into the sunset, and co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge will carry the franchise going forward.
