The Orlando area offers an incredible number of accommodation styles. The most common offered looks like a standard hotel room with two queen-size beds. Now, there is nothing wrong with those types of rooms but what if you want a king-size bed? Those types of accommodations make up a very small amount of hotel inventory at theme park resorts. In addition, when you locate a room with a king size bed, the price point often creates sticker shock. If you really want a king size bed, guests visiting Orlando often select non theme park resort hotels. I found one affordable exception. Well, I knew about it already. However, I recently stayed there.
Universal’s Aventura Hotel on Universal Orlando property offers a few rooms with king sized beds.  Since Aventura rates as my favorite on-site hotel at Universal Orlando, I expected to enjoy this room on my solo trip. That anticipation turned out to be correct.
I took the elevator to the 9th floor. Then, I went down the proper hallway. I found my hallway. I went down to room 942. Opened the door to my lovely room…
This room conveyed spacious vibes in comparison to a standard room with two queen beds. The sofa included worked well while not taking up too much room space.
The bed itself rates as very comfortable. Aventura sometimes gets poor reviews for the bed quality. Though I have complaints about beds at the other value plus resort hotel and the value level ones at Universal Orlando, this bed gets no grievances from me.
The rest of the room functions basically the same as the standard rooms at Aventura. You have desk space and a refrigerator for example. The bathroom setup looks very similar to standard rooms there also. Of course, the tablet bedside designed to control the features of this room exists in this room also.

I was lucky to get this one for a recent trip. Also, I was lucky to get it for $99/ night annual passholder rate. Maybe you will be as lucky on your quest for a king-size bed. May your vacation time be pleasant!
