Hoop-Dee-Do Revue Returning to Walt Disney World

It’s finally been announced – the Hoop-De-Doo Revue is returning to Walt Disney World.  Fans of the show far and wide are surely rejoicing!

Presented at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, the Hoop-Dee-Do Revue is a fan favorite that has been shuttered since the closure of the Disney Parks in March of 2020.  It has since to resume shows in the phased reopening of Walt Disney World due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

However, that has now changed.  Today, Disney Parks Blog announced that it will be reopening the crowd pleasing show with its first show to commence on June 23rd, 2022 at Pioneer Hall at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Reservations for the show will open on May 26th, 2022 via the Walt Disney World website.

The Hoop-Dee-Do Revue originally opened in 1974 at the Walt Disney World Resort.  It is an interactive song and dance dinner show. Disney’s website describes it as a: “A hilarious, high-spirited hootenanny the whole family will enjoy, accompanied by a finger-lickin’ countrified feast.”

Disney announced that “few updates” have been made to the script and the scenery.  The Disney website may be outdated, and changes to the times may be made.  However, as of now no changes to the menu have been made.  In the past, the menu has boasted fried chicken, smoke barbecue ribs, and strawberry shortcake.  Prices listed on the website are subject to change, but they ranged from $39-$44 for kids aged 3-9 and $66-$74 for adults when the show was last in operation.

Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is about to quite busy again with guests flocking from all over the world to see this delightful and entertaining show.  Remember to check the Walt Disney World Resort website for updated pricing and menu changes as they arise.
