Hawkeye is the next Marvel Disney+ show coming down the pipeline, and EW has landed exclusive pics of Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee) as Kate Bishop.
Although it’s hardly a shocking reveal. Unofficial pics of Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop have been floating around the internet for months.

While the Clint Barton of Hawkeye of the comics co-exists with Kate Bishop, we do have to wonder if this series isn’t a “passing of the torch” with Steinfeld becoming the MCU’s new incarnation of Hawkeye and Clint Barton retiring… or worse.
Jeremy Renner isn’t making some other Disney actors very happy these days, and we’d have to imagine that his MCU contract is about up.
Here’s Renner’s take on mentoring Steinfeld from EW…
“That was always my role. Outside of acting in the thing, I was protecting her and giving her the CliffsNotes on how it goes with this kind of filmmaking: Green screen, superhero life, all that stuff,” Renner says. “I just wanted to protect her, because there’s a lot of physical stuff. She’s a wonderful actress, a wonderful human, and I can’t wait to see all the cool stuff that she’s able to do.”
Hawkeye drops on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.
