Harveys Release ‘Play in the Parks’ Bags But They Were Gone Almost Immediately

Shop Disney strikes again! This time it was the Harveys release for the new Play in the Parks Bags. They were to go live at 7AM PST/ 10AM EST and people complained that not only could they not find them on the site, they were sold out within a couple of minutes. It also went to the app and when that happens it usually is gone from there before the website.

It had gotten so bad with the app that they had stopped launching items on the app for awhile. Apparently they went back to that and it seems to have gone the same way it was going before.

Walt Disney World was selling them at select locations and they were only given a few and were gone almost immediately.

Of course they were already on eBay at almost double the price immediately.

The comments on Facebook and Instagram all confirm this. People are NOT happy.

Harveys said on Instagram that Disney could reorder more if there was enough demand.  I would say given the response there was more than enough demand for these! Especially the backpack, which is what many people, myself included, wanted.

Disney order more! Don’t unload them all on the app this time.

What do you think? Comment and let us know!

Disney has been a big part of my life for years--from family trips to WDW to growing up on Disney classics, TV, and movies. Prior to Pirates and Princesses I successfully ran social media and websites since 2010. I've also been a public speaker and presenter since 2007. I'm the co-host for the YouTube channel Clownfish TV as well as the podcast/ Youtube Pirates and Princesses (PNP) channel. Former contributor, online personality and acting social media manager at The Kingdom Insider (which we built from the ground up and ran from 2017-2019 --Thom didn't quit FYI) Pirates and Princesses was started by my husband and I several years ago. We loved Disney and wanted to honestly cover all aspects from pop-culture to the parks from a consumer focused stance. Living OUR happily ever after getting to do what we love with our two kids! Creating fun content and building new things. Certified art teacher, and mom. Opinions are all mine.
