The transition from Halloween to winter holiday decorations at the Orlando area theme parks is happening rapidly. Decorations for Christmas have started appearing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Grinchmas decorations in Seuss Landing at Islands of Adventure are basically all in place. Even the Port of Entry area of Islands of Adventure is showing wreaths for the winter holiday already. It looks like we are moving directly from Halloween to Christmas and Hanukkah.

Well, the Hard Rock Café at Universal Orlando CityWalk would like us all to at least for one day remember Thanksgiving.

This year, Hard Rock Café is offering a special Thanksgiving Day menu. The promotional material for this event reads: “Enjoy a rockin’ Thanksgiving complete with friends, family, turkey and pie. Oh my! Slow-roasted turkey breast, roasted fresh vegetables, home-style classic stuffing, creamy sweet potato mash, cranberry sauce finished with a traditional turkey gravy.” The price for this meal will be $29.95. In addition, there is a child’s plate version which will cost $10.95.

If this meal is not filling enough for you, Hard Rock Café is offering pumpkin pie for $7.95. the pie is described as a slice of classic pumpkin pie topped with caramel sauce, toasted walnuts, and house-made whipped cream. Now, this is bold menu choice since Hard Rock Café is located near The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium known for their decadent and enormous desserts.

For those of you wanting a special holiday themed alcoholic beverage, Hard Rock Café has you covered. They are offering an espresso martini for $9.25. This will be Grey Goose vodka, Kahlua, fresh brewed espresso shaken until frothy and chilled.

The Hard Rock Café is suggesting reservations for November 25th (Thanksgiving Day USA) event. Still, they want everyone to know that walk-ins are always welcome. If you find yourself at Universal Orlando needing a break from the theme parks, this might be an excellent festive holiday break.
