Evidence leads us to believe that Hard Rock Café in CityWalk has embraced the seasonal menu even more. Recently, they announced a Thanksgiving Day (USA) menu for November 25th, 2021. Now, they have announced a holiday menu for the entire month of December. So, what do you get at a themed restaurant for a holiday menu? In my casual glance at the menu, it is not as themed as the Thanksgiving Day one. Still, I see several interesting options and ways to order.
First, the holiday menu selection can be ordered as two courses for $33.95 or the full three course for $39.95. The three-course menu comes in a specific Prix Fixe style. The three courses are an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert.
The two-course option would include either appetizer or dessert.
The value can be found within the three-course option.
The two appetizer choices with this menu are a Caesar salad bruschetta or a blue cheese chopped salad.
The two dessert options are a holiday brownie (warm chocolate brownie topped with caramel and chocolate sauce, served with whipped cream) or an espresso martini (Grey Goose Vodka, Kahlúa, fresh brewed espresso shaken until frothy and chilled).
The highlight of this holiday menu option are the entrées. If desired, anyone should be able to find an entrée they will enjoy on this menu. The choices are:
Mushroom & Swiss Burger
Full Rack Baby Back Ribs
BBQ Grilled Chicken
The Impossible Burger
The Legendary Burger
Surf and Turf Burger
New York Strip Steak With Marinated Mushrooms
As a veteran of Hard Rock Café has probably noticed, those are not really holiday entrees. All Hard Rock Cafe has done is take core menu items packaging them in a Prix Fixe style menu. The only possible exception is the BBQ chicken that is not on main menu at time of writing. Yet, it has been on main menu before.
If you are going to Universal Orlando in December 2021, this menu twist might help you. The best values seem to be the salmon, surf/turf burger, and the steak entrée. If you were interested in those entrées, then this holiday menu could be an excellent bonus. Hard Rock café should get some credit for at least trying to offer guests something new this holiday season.
