I woke up to lots of Halloween Horror Nights news on July 26th. We got information about multi-night tickets. This calmed fears of so many. I expected that to happen on that day based on behind-the-scenes news. However, I found myself totally surprised by some information about Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) in Orlando Scareactor dining returns this year. With the closing of Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Café, I falsely assumed no scareactor dining this year. I discovered myself totally ignorant of this HHN feature for 2022.
This year, during Orlando’s HHN, scareactor dining will occur at Louie’s Italian Restaurant. I find myself confused how this place will serve food during daytime hours and then quickly switch to buffet themed to scary stuff. However, I possess confidence in Universal Orlando.
Based on information we have so far, this event looks much like previous HHN dining experiences. Each guest will cost $54.99 plus tax. This dining experience entitles each guest to one meal consisting of a dinner buffet at Louie’s Italian Restaurant including one non-alcoholic beverage, a photo opportunity with scareactors from the Halloween Horror Nights event, and digital download of one photo taken during the Dining Experience. These dining experiences will happen starting at 5:00pm on HHN nights with times starting until 6:15 each evening. Tickets will be date specific. Guests must arrive 15 minutes before scheduled seating time. Reservations may be made online or by calling 407-224-3663. Tickets are not refundable and not exchangeable.
As you might expect, Halloween Horror Nights event admission ticket is required AND must be valid for the same calendar day as your Dining Experience ticket. Characters, dates, times, and benefits are subject to availability and to change with events of this nature. The digital photo ticket must be exchanged for a My Universal Photos card at the Scareactor Dining Experience. Access to digital viewing is provided by Colorvision International, Inc.
If you are interested in HHN character dining with a pizza/pasta buffet, this could be the event for you. Personally, I find myself struggling with this setting for the HHN dining. Despite that, some of the best experiences from HHN guests I have ever heard about involved this scaceactor dining. Until more information becomes available, I have only one thing to say. As always, eat like you mean it!
