2019 Halloween Horror Nights is kicking off tonight at Universal Orlando Resort!
This year guests can experience 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, live entertainment–including the amazing new night-time lagoon show called Halloween Marathon of Mayhem!
My husband and son just love Halloween Horror Nights! It’s their absolute favorite! Being the big time fans that we are this year is going to be epic with Ghostbusters and Stranger Things!
Let’s look at Stranger Things this year!
We have the Hawkins Middle School area when Eleven came back through the wall!
Dart
Fans of the new season it’s the Starcourt Mall!!! Stay away from the basement of that place.
Also from Season 3 it’s Hopper’s Cabin and the Mind Flayer.
Ghostbusters (1984) is also there! I’m so excited about this one. I remember seeing it in the theater!
“Ghostbusters! What do you want?!”
Slimer in the hotel. (This one makes me smile)
Who ya gonna call?
If Gozer asks “Are you a God?” make sure you say “YES!”
I love this so much! They really did a great job with it!
But that isn’t all! Just look at what all you can do at Halloween Horror Nights!
- Encounter the terrifying Upside Down where they will walk through iconic scenes like the Starcourt Mall and Hopper’s cabin and face ferocious Demodogs, from seasons 2 and 3 of Netflix’s “Stranger Things”
- Be transported to the streets of New York as the rift between worlds opens – releasing ghoulish spirits, hideous specters and ectoplasm-dripping phantasms in every shape and size in “Ghostbusters”
- Come face-to-face with the legendary monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, Wolf Man and more in “Universal Monsters,” inspired by Universal Pictures’ classic horror flicks
- Journey into the unnerving world of Jordan Peele’s and Universal Pictures’ “Us” where The Tethered emerge from their tunnels to seek revenge on their privileged doubles
- Enter the sleepy small town of Crescent Cove that has been taken over by a pack of murderous clown-like creatures in MGM’s “Killer Klowns From Outer Space”
- Take a relentless tour of Rob Zombie’s “House of 1000 Corpses,”and venture through the chaotic home of the Firefly family, a sadistic clan of psychotic killers
- Scream their way through four spine-chilling original haunted houses created by the twisted minds of Universal Orlando’s Entertainment team, including “Graveyard Games,” “Yeti: Terror of the Yukon,” “Depths of Fear” and “Nightingales: Blood Pit
Check out Yeti: Terror of the Yukon
I think this will give Disney’s Expedition Everest a run for it’s money.
You can never go wrong with classics. How about Universal Monsters and Killer Clowns From Outer Space
Then there are the Five Scare-zones with scareactors!

Make sure you check out the two shows!

With all of these amazing offerings I highly recommend that you attend multiple nights or purchase the Express Pass. It’s worth the extra money just to make sure you get to do all you wanted to do. Make sure you keep that in mind!
I think the Stranger Things and Ghostbusters will be some of the busiest houses so make sure you get to those for sure! (I’m not biased or anything, honest.)
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort start tonight and will run on select nights through November 2, 2019. If you would like to buy tickets you can do so HERE. You can purchase the Express Pass HERE.
What do you think? Which looks the best to you?
