Space 220 will be opening on Monday, September 20, but ahead of the official opening some test groups have gotten to go “up.” I have to say this is one addition to EPCOT that I am incredibly happy about. After seeing the videos, this feels like classic EPCOT and I think a lot of EPCOT fans will also be happy.
WDWNT has gotten a look and they posted a video of the Stellarvator that takes guests to the restaurant, 220 miles up.
Let’s take a look at what other people are sharing!

Also it will work on a daytime/nighttime cycle!
The space elevator in Space 220 works on a day/night cycle. If it’s dark out after your meal, you’ll have a nighttime view of the elevator returning to earth
