We still don’t have a set date yet, but the American Adventure’s restaurant replacement for the Liberty Inn, called the Regal Eagle, will be opening sometime this winter.

This will be a new “fast-casual” BBQ experience with classic American backyard BBQ dishes inspired from areas around the USA.

Guests can also enjoy “a variety of home-style craft brews.”

The menu will feature sandwiches and platters and of course a new plant-based option.

Some of the items available will be:

Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich– served with house-made spicy mop sauce on garlic toast

South Carolina Smoked Sausage Sandwich– with tangy mustard sauce and caramelized onions.

Or choose these options by themselves or as part of a platter!

Kansas City Smoked Chicken

Memphis dry-rub pork ribs

North Carolina Chopped Smoked Pork Butt

Also available is the Power Green Salad served with chilled pulled chicken, fresh citrus, and a citrus vinaigrette.

Then there’s the “All-American Burger” with a grilled burger topped with BBQ pork and a fried onion ring. (Wow! No wonder everyone thinks Americans are fat and unhealthy if that is the “All-American” option.)

Plant-Based BBQ burger featuring a plant-based patty topped with BBQ jackfruit served on vegan garlic toast.

It’s BBQ inspired so there are special sauces.

Spicy Mop Sauce, Sweet BBQ, Tangy Mustard and Vinegar Based Sauce

Sides:

French Fries, beer-battered onion rings, mac and cheese, baked beans with burnt ends, house-made pickles, and creamy slaw.

For the Kids

Kids options will include:  Burger, BBQ chicken salad, BBQ chicken leg or Chicken salad, and even a BBQ rib platter, all served with their choice of two sides.

Desserts

There are three desserts that Disney has mentioned so far including: banana pudding, a s’mores brownie or a cup of fresh watermelon garnished with mint.

Beverages:

All-American beverage offerings will include: Coke products, a selection of beer and cider from around the country, wines from the west coast, and specialty regional cocktails with and without alcohol.

With the new Regal Eagle eatery guests can enjoy an outdoor bar “..pouring your favorite craft brews on draft, and the outdoor seating area will be a great place to sit back and sip on a Tennessee Lemonade Cocktail or a non-alcoholic Berry Sparkler!”

This is all coming sometime this winter. No official date has been announced.
