Finally we have a return estimate for the very popular Fantasmic show at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The shows closed in March, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and have yet to reopen.
The show will return to both coasts sometime in 2022. That’s all we know. No specific dates have been given, but at least it’s something.
Also confirmed at Celebration D23 is the return of Main Street Electrical Parade in Disneyland and World of Color to Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort. Again, all we know is that they will return sometime in 2022.
Previously Disney teased the return of Main Street Electrical parade via TikTok. I was hoping we would get it back in Walt Disney World.

However, Walt Disney World is getting back the Festival of Fantasy Parade next year and in general parades will be returning to Disney Parks in 2022.
Maybe they’ll get Paint the Night in Walt Disney World? Something would be nice for the 50th.
I know there are going to be a lot of happy guests with the return of these fan favorite shows and parades.
