Due to staffing issues it now seems the Space 220 Restaurant will now be opening in February 2020 instead.
This is coming from WDWNT and the recent hiring frenzy to fill positions at this restaurant. Included in the job description is the following:
Space 220 plans to launch in February 2020 and we’re looking for [job position] to join our crew and start training in January.
If you happen to be looking for a job in the Disney restaurant now is the time to apply. The Patina Group will be running this restaurant, as well as several others at the resort.
Unfortunately, if you were planning on getting there when they were previously scheduled to open you will miss it, but if you are heading to Epcot from February on you will most likely be in luck, provided you can get in.
