Ah, Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen, you continue to design sweet treats. Though I wish the title of your restaurant was shorter, your dessert creations never lack being picturesque. Also, they rarely falter in the taste department. Very recently, Universal Orlando announced a sweet milkshake treat for traditional Easter weekend. Like all seasonal milkshakes here, they possess interesting titles. For example, for Mardi Gras (until April 24th), they offer a Rhythm and Shake Milkshake.
Starting April 15th, guests may purchase the “Easter Basket” milkshake. What in the world makes up an “Easter Basket” milkshake? Well, the culinary team at Toothsome gathered to find several Easter holiday themed items for one magnificent creation.
According to Universal Orlando, the “Easter Basket” milkshake features a light pineapple flavor. Also, the ice cream base lies underneath a topping of whipped cream and popular Easter treats. In a fascinating design, the topping holds an Easter season classic, Peeps candy, a chocolate passionfruit crème egg, and jellybeans to finish off the candy theming. For the illusion of the milkshake being an Easter basket, green appears prominently to symbolize a traditional basket. To make this happen, green-dyed coconut shavings specifically adorn the rim of the container. The dyed coconut visually represents the “grass” of the Easter Basket.
This milkshake will only be available from this Friday, April 15th until Monday April 18th. Using a horrible pun, if you want this milkshake, you will need to “hop” over to CityWalk on those days
At this point, we lack any information on the quality and taste of this limited time milkshake. Based on history at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal Orlando CityWalk, we expect good things from this treat. If you desire to have an Easter weekend brunch, remember Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen serves a brunch menu all day. The current opening hours, according to Universal Orlando mobile app, indicate they open at 10:30am on Fridays and Saturdays. They also open at 11:00am on all other days.
Also, based on the fact I have an April reservation at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, please expect new reviews of Toothsome menu items soon. As always, eat like you mean it!
