Downtown Disney District Restaurants and Shops Opening Tomorrow, July 9th in Disneyland

Tomorrow the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland will reopen to the public as the first phase of reopening the Anaheim, CA resort. The Downtown Disney District area will have operating hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The OC Register has posted a list of shops and restaurants opening tomorrow. They did point out that in California, the state guidelines only allow Orange County restaurants to operate with outdoor dining. Indoor dining is not allowed at this point in time.

Here is the list of food and beverage locations reopening on July 9th:

  1. Asian Street Eats
  2. Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes
  3. California Churro
  4. Earl of Sandwich
  5. Jamba
  6. Kayla’s Cakes
  7. Marceline’s Confectionery
  8. Naples Ristorante e Bar
  9. Salt & Straw
  10. Starbucks
  11. Starbucks West
  12. Uva Bar & Cafe
  13. Wetzel’s Pretzels
  14. Wetzel’s Diggity Dog

Here is the list of retail locations reopening on July 9th:

  1. Curl Surf
  2. Disney Dress Shop
  3. Disney Home
  4. Disney’s Pin Traders
  5. Lego Store
  6. Pandora Jewelry
  7. Rinse Bath & Body Co.
  8. Sephora
  9. Sugarboo & Co.
  10. Sunglass Icon
  11. WonderGround Gallery
  12. World of Disney

It is important to note that World of Disney and Marceline’s Confectionery will use a mobile wait list for entry. When it’s your turn to shop you will be notified.  Other locations may use something similar as well.

Parking and Entering Downtown Disney:

Shoppers will park in the Simba lot and will enter the shopping district at the security checkpoint that is near the Disneyland Hotel and Earl of Sandwich.

If you are coming via rideshare drop-off on Harbor Boulevard you will need to enter at the security checkpoint between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Screenings and Safety Measures:

Temperature checks will be required for entry and they will happen before you enter the metal detectors and bag check areas.

Masks are mandatory and must cover the nose and mouth and fit securely with ties or ear loops. No costume masks.

Social/ Physical Distancing measures will observed. Ground markings will be in place at restaurants and stores to help you maintain this and direct guests.

Digital or single use menus will be used for most eateries.
