Disneyland had a special preview for Cast Members and guests and now we have a look at some of the new changes that have come to the Disneyland Park area before it officially opens on April 30th.

It started off with Mickey Mouse opening the gates:

Guests were then allowed to visit the park and check out some of the updated attractions!

The big change is of course Snow White.  It’s been changed from ‘Snow White’s Scary Adventures” to “Snow White’s Enchanted Wish.”

FreshBaked was there and they posted a POV Ride Through for us to check out!

If you would like to compare it to the original, LMG Vids put up a POV ride through of the ride before it closed for refurbishment:

You can see that the queue has been cleaned up and repainted. The storybook seems to be more prominent now.

Birds, a butterfly, and a squirrel appear to be added to the cottage in the beginning, making it feel less scary.

Another change is Snow White dancing with the dwarves instead of being on the stairs.

Yet another change is the mines. Now we have a shadow projection of the dwarves, a screen with them marching to work, and the gems and mine scenes like we see in the Seven Dwarves Mine Train at Walt Disney World.

The Evil Queen in front of the mirror has new effects where the wall changes too.

They took out the skeleton and made it a spell book area.

The second skeleton was also removed.

The cauldron has added lighting effects.

A Snow White eating the apple and shattering mirror effect added.

The witch popping out with the apple and the scary woods seem to be gone. Replaced with lighting effects, dwarves, regular woods, and the Prince waking her up.

That’s followed by a lighting/projection story book scene.

The finale also has a scene with Snow White and the Prince.

So there are quite a few changes on this attraction!

This attraction also got some updates including new pets added to the cemetery.

You can’t bypass the Stretching Room in Disneyland, as the elevator takes you to the ride. So, they are socially distancing the room instead. Allowing 5 groups.

New Wallpaper and drapes have been added.

The dividing wall is higher when you enter the loading area.

Of course Miss April-December has been re-added as well.

There are some additions to the queue.

Other than being cleaned up and some queue changes, it seems about the same.

Those seem to be the bigger changes at Disneyland so far.

Let’s end with the reawakening of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

412 day closure! Told you it was going to be longer than “two-weeks.”

I’m so glad the Cast Members and guests can come back now!
