Good news for Disneyland guests! The Disneyland Hotel and Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar will be reopening on July 2!
When it comes to Disneyland hotel choices, our personal preference is the Disneyland Hotel. Granted it’s further away and a walk, it’s still the one we feel most attached to. It’s also worth mentioning that it’s a AAA Four Diamond hotel.
Now fans of the hotel can stay again (with limited capacity.) The Fantasy Tower will be the first tower reopening for guests. The Adventure Tower and Frontier Towers seem to be reopening at later dates.
While it was closed Disney “refreshed” the upholstery and fabrics around the hotel in the rooms, lobby and meeting rooms.
The guest rooms in the Fantasy tower now have a new fireworks pattern in the carpet as well as upgraded platform beds.
The corridor flooring now has patterns inspired by the art of Mary Blair that feature park elements that reflect the specific tower you are staying in.
Disneyland Hotel Restaurants and Bars reopening:
In addition to this Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill and the Coffee House will all be reopening as well.
Let’s hope they don’t remove Trader Sam’s when they’re removing him from the Jungle Cruise attraction.
