Disney Visa Card Holders Can Get Up to 40% off the Upcoming Riviera Resort at Walt Disney World

0

The new Riviera Resort will be opening on December 16th at the Walt Disney World Resort. Apparently the rooms aren’t moving like they thought they would because if you are a Disney Visa Card member you can get up to 40% off by booking your room for stays most nights Dec. 16, 2019 through March 31, 2020.

How do I book?

You need to call to reserve your room and mention the offer then use the Disney Visa Card or your Disney Rewards Redemption Card to pay the deposit.

Other Information

  • Disney® Visa® Cardmember must stay in room.
  • Offer is nontransferable.
  • Additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults per room at Deluxe Resorts and Studios at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts.
  • Cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. Advance reservations required.
  • You must book by February 14, 2020

Of course this is a limited offer, with only so many rooms put back for it. Savings is based on the non-discounted price and there may be length of stay requirements (hmmm why not just say up front how long you have to stay?”

Offer is non-transferable and additional “per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults per room at Deluxe Resorts and Studios at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts.Cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. Advance reservations required.”

It may be a good deal if you really wanted to stay at the Riviera! But keep in mind the rates regularly run from like $340-$3700 depending on the room type and dates.

The discount applies to when the resort opens. I just think that they are pricing people out and now they have to do fire sales on rooms before it even opens, but it’s good news and a good deal for those that still want to go! Save some money!

If you don’t have a Disney Visa card and you do visit Disney or buy Disney merchandise often, you might want to consider it. You get reward dollars that you can use towards tickets, trips, ShopDisney, Disney shopping in the parks and more. Plus they have discounts and exclusive offers for Disney Visa members. I get no kick-back for telling you this, I just recommend it personally. I also recommend you pay the card off every month and then just accumulate the reward points!
