Yesterday Disney Springs opened up at Walt Disney World and apparently police were called when one family pulled out a grill and started grilling hot dogs outside of Raglan Road, one of the closed locations in the area.
Social media has the photos and info:
Wow. These people really decided it was alright to grill hotdogs ON AN OPEN FLAME AT DISNEY SPRINGS! 🤭🤬 pic.twitter.com/wvf0Fa69zC

The gang over at Park Hoppin’ came across it while they were covering the opening:
The responses were what you would expect:
I can’t believe that I never thought about bringing a grill to Disney Springs. It’s such an obvious location for grilling your own hotdogs. #DisTwitter pic.twitter.com/VGRUnYqAbv

I had to appreciate this one though. Oh Toodles!
People are now attempting to grill hotdogs on an open flame at Disney Springs. We’re back to our normal levels of crazy. Everything is going to be okay. pic.twitter.com/4SrbWaxWG7

Someone else pointed out they were grilling maskless:
What the heck? Is that a maskless family cooking hotdogs in Disney Springs? I- 😳

I honestly think more people will be upset that they had to wear a mask to enter and stay in the park, when these women weren’t wearing masks, than they will be about them grilling.
Look I understand that there are likely religious restrictions involved in the reasoning behind it, but it’s still not okay to bring in a grill and start grilling your food in the middle of Disney Springs. I really do appreciate the ingenuity though. I think I’m more impressed than anything. I can’t believe they got it all in there and got set up and going.
I sense new rule signage and bag checks coming from this though.
