Disney Seems To Be Putting At Least One Dwarf Back Into ‘Snow White’

Disney’s live-action ‘Snow White’ film has been one disaster after another. From the PR issues around Peter Dinklage calling out Disney over using dwarfs, to other dwarf actors anger at Peter Dinklage when Disney responded that they were going in another direction with “magical creatures.” Then the set catching on fire. The dress looking terrible (hopefully it is not the actual dress and just a place holder) and the very fact that people do not want another live-action remake.

Now we might have some good news. Disney is apparently putting at least one dwarf back into the film. According to ScreenRant, actor Martin Klebba has confirmed he will be playing Grumpy in the upcoming live-action film.

Klebba was at Fan Expo Denver and during a panel he told the audience that he had already wrapped his filming on the film and that it should be out sometime in late 2023.

Just got done filming Snow White, which will be coming out late next year. And, of course, I play Grumpy. Gal Gadot is our witch, and Rachel Zegler will be our Snow White. So, come on by and have a good time.””

At this point in time, we don’t know if all seven dwarfs are in the film or if it’s just Grumpy. It could be Grumpy, who isn’t working in the mines because Peter Dinklage was offended, and six other “magical creatures.”

At this point I don’t think most people are just over the live-action remakes and probably won’t even care. The fact that Disney could do damage control by announcing there will be seven dwarfs, and not, makes me think there’s not going to be seven dwarfs.

Who knows. But we do know that we at least have Grumpy.

What do you think? Comment and let us know!
