Disney+ has announced that they will be pushing back the Disney+ release of the upcoming ‘Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi’ show by two days. To make up for it they are giving fans two episodes at launch.
The original plan was for the show to debut on May 25th, which is an historic Star Wars date for fans as the original film released on May 25, 1977. Now the date has been pushed back to May 27th, which happens to coincide with ‘Star Wars Celebrations’ in Anaheim May 26-29th.

By moving the release date it’s going to go up against ‘Stranger Things’ and that might be intentional. Not sure it’s a smart move, so I would assume it’s for good reason.
Now we have to wait two more days.
