Disney Offers PhotoPass “CSL Portrait Experience” On The Galactic Starcruiser

The Galactic Starcruiser is “setting sail” for those that pay for a trip, starting on March 1, 2022. Now the huge price tag includes a lot of things, but apparently you can pay for upgrades.

One such upgrade is their version of PhotoPass called the “CSL Portrait Experience” where according to to Brooke McDonald you get a 30-minuite private photoshoot at “scenic locations around the ship.” (CSL stands for Chandrila Star Line.)

It’s like the private “Capture Your Moment” photo sessions you can do in the parks.

This one as an “Introductory Rate” of $99, with no mention of how much it will be after it’s not “introductory” anymore.

You are apparently given the high-resolution downloads, which is normal.

If you want to add this to your trip you need to book it before you go so you will need to call and add it to your package.

Honestly, this isn’t anything that people aren’t already doing at the parks, so I’m not surprised Disney is offering it at the hotel. It might be worth the added cost to have the staged photos when areas aren’t busy and you can see the “scenic locations” better.

But when people are already paying $4,800 – $6,000, you would think they could throw in some pictures. At the parks you’re just paying it on top of your ticket and that is far, far, less expensive.
