Disney Offers First Look at Emilio Estevez and Might Ducks For Disney+

0

A few days ago we heard that Emilio Estevez was returning to play Coach Bombay for a new Disney+ Might Ducks show.

Now Disney+ has revealed two photos of the cast in production on their Twitter account!

It has been announced that Lauren Graham will star in this show as well.

Here’s the synopsis for the new show from a Disney Press Release:

“In present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom Alex (Graham) set out to build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports.”

So it sounds like Coach Bombay became exactly what he hated but Lauren Graham’s character is coming in to be who he used to be.

Well I’m really not sure how this one is going to go over. Not unless they somehow remind Coach Bombay about who we was and where he came from. Of course it’s being spun this way, honestly with some of the stuff we hear about m

Either way, a new Might Ducks show is coming. I’m not sure how I feel about it after reading that.

Disney has been a big part of my life for years--from family trips to WDW to growing up on Disney classics, TV, and movies. Prior to Pirates and Princesses I successfully ran social media and websites since 2010. I've also been a public speaker and presenter since 2007. I'm the co-host for the YouTube channel Clownfish TV as well as the podcast/ Youtube Pirates and Princesses (PNP) channel. Former contributor, online personality and acting social media manager at The Kingdom Insider (which we built from the ground up and ran from 1997-2019 --Thom didn't quit FYI) Pirates and Princesses was started by my husband and I several years ago. We loved Disney and wanted to honestly cover all aspects from pop-culture to the parks from a consumer focused stance. Living OUR happily ever after getting to do what we love with our two kids! Creating fun content and building new things. Certified art teacher, and mom. Opinions are all mine.
