Disney Now Offering ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian’ Baby Yoda, The Child, Shoulder Sitter

Now you can take Baby Yoda, aka The Child, on your shoulder, wherever you go. Shop Disney is now selling a 5″ plush version of Baby Yoda from ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian” that you can wear as a cute accessory.

The shoulder sitting plush idea isn’t really new. I’ve seen it with creatures and dragons at conventions for years, but now it’s Baby Yoda!

Shoulder sitting “The Child” is $19.99 on the Shop Disney site.

Here’s the write-up:

Hey, there’s a ”Baby Yoda” on your shoulder! The Child mini plush comes with a magnetic fabric disc that goes under your shirt. Place the Child on top and enjoy his adorable company wherever you go.

It comes with the plush that is 5″ and the magnetic fabric disk that you put under your sleeve, at the shoulder, to attach the plush to. The disk is about 2.5″ in diameter.

Taking Baby Yoda, aka ‘The Child’ with you on your adventures would be cute. The photos would be fun too, especially if you are visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I fully expect many Instagram photos just like this soon. Now if they only had one with sipping a bowl of soup.

Disney has been a big part of my life for years--from family trips to WDW to growing up on Disney classics, TV, and movies. Prior to Pirates and Princesses I successfully ran social media and websites since 2010. I've also been a public speaker and presenter since 2007. I'm the co-host for the YouTube channel Clownfish TV as well as the podcast/ Youtube Pirates and Princesses (PNP) channel. Former contributor, online personality and acting social media manager at The Kingdom Insider (which we built from the ground up and ran from 1997-2019 --Thom didn't quit FYI) Pirates and Princesses was started by my husband and I several years ago. We loved Disney and wanted to honestly cover all aspects from pop-culture to the parks from a consumer focused stance. Living OUR happily ever after getting to do what we love with our two kids! Creating fun content and building new things. Certified art teacher, and mom. Opinions are all mine.
