Christmas is one of the best times to visit Disneyland. The decorations and the lights add some extra magic to the atmosphere. Disney is amping up the Christmas magic this year with a new event called Disney Merriest Nites!
The new event will be a special after-hours ticketed event, akin to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Oogie Boogie Bash.
The event is set to include:
Mickey Mouse will appear on Main Street, welcoming guests to the celebration. The Muppets will provide entertainment in the form of Christmas carol sing-a-longs, from a traveling coach.
Meet Princess Tiana in New Orleans Square for a bayou celebration. Other lands will host more character-led celebrations. You can find Miguel from the Disney and Pixar film “Coco” in Frontierland. You can join Elsa’s winter wonderland in Fantasyland or hula with Lilo and Stitch in Adventureland. Buzz Lightyear’s celebration in Tomorrowland is sure to be out of this world!
There will be themed backdrops for amazing picture opportunities and special character sightings throughout the park. And of course there will be plenty of themed food and beverages!
The after hour event lets you experience some Disneyland favorites with limited crowds.
The event will run for select nights in November and December. Tickets cost $165 per person, and include an unlimited photopass to take advantage of all the great photo opportunities! Tickets to Disney Merriest Nites go on sale September 14th.
