In surprise to no one, Disney Cruise Line has cancelled their cruises through February 2021. We already knew that was coming since there weren’t available booking until March, 2021 and we know the three step certification has to occur before the cruise line can reopen. That will likely take a bit of time.

Today Disney Cruise Line has officially cancelled their cruises through February, 2021.

According to the Disney Cruise Line Blog, this is the letter that was sent out:

Our team at Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our Guests and team members. We are carefully reviewing the guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and working toward resuming operations. As we continue to refine our protocols for our eventual return to service, we have decided to cancel all sailings departing through February 2021.

In light of this cancellation, we are offering affected Guests who have paid their reservation in full the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing prior to May 31, 2022, or a full refund. The credit has automatically been added to your clients’ account, and can be applied as a payment option when booking a new reservation online at DisneyTravelAgents.com. Guests that have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far.

Again if you paid in full you will receive a 125% credit or you can request a refund. You must sail before May 31, 2022. If you have not paid in full you will automatically receive a refund.

Disney has been a big part of my life for years--from family trips to WDW to growing up on Disney classics, TV, and movies. Prior to Pirates and Princesses I successfully ran social media and websites since 2010. I've also been a public speaker and presenter since 2007. I'm the co-host for the YouTube channel Clownfish TV as well as the podcast/ Youtube Pirates and Princesses (PNP) channel. Former contributor, online personality and acting social media manager at The Kingdom Insider (which we built from the ground up and ran from 1997-2019 --Thom didn't quit FYI) Pirates and Princesses was started by my husband and I several years ago. We loved Disney and wanted to honestly cover all aspects from pop-culture to the parks from a consumer focused stance. Living OUR happily ever after getting to do what we love with our two kids! Creating fun content and building new things. Certified art teacher, and mom. Opinions are all mine.
