Now Disney wants to embrace Luke Skywalker. Finally, after years, they have announced a Luke Skywalker meet and greet at Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge.
They previously teased his appearance, but now it’s confirmed that Luke will appear during the “Seasons of the Force” starting today and running through May 11.
“A Jedi like his father before him. Luke Skywalker has arrived in Batuu. See the Jedi Knight’s debut for Season of the Force at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park.”

Of course, this is the younger Luke Skywalker as seen in “The Mandalorian” and not the old, grumpy, jaded guy who somehow wanted to kill his nephew. Somehow he has a bad wig, but it’s still a win.

Luke Skywalker should have been a day one character at Galaxy’s Edge. Instead, they focused on Disney’s sequel trilogy characters.
The comments indicate that many agree, but people want WDW to get him too!

I agree. It’s about time. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader were the icons of “Star Wars” till the dark times….till Disney.
