USA Today has released a new “10 Best” list that named the 10 best amusement park restaurants.
Of course Disney made the list, as well as Universal.
How did they pick the winners?
“These 10 amusement park restaurants were nominated by a panel of industry experts and voted best in the U.S. for their food, atmosphere and service.” The top 20 were chosen and then the top 10 were decided by popular vote.
Disney parks took 6 of the top 10 and Universal took 2 of the top 10 spots.
The Disney restaurants that placed were:
#10 Sci-Fi Dine In located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando.
What makes this one special is that it’s themed to be an old drive-in theater, complete with old sci-fi film clips, concession commercials, and old clips.
You even eat in a car!
#8 was the California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Located on the 15th floor of the Contemporary Resort, the California Grill offers grand views and signature dining. But other less expensive Disney options rated higher!
#7 Boma Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
This restaurant is set to resemble a busy African marketplace complete with thatched looking roofs and it offers a buffet style dining experience.
#5 Be Our Guest
Be Our Guest is the restaurant inspired by Beast’s castle in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. It offers quick service breakfasts and lunch with a signature service dinner. It’s one of our favorites!
#3 Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in Disney Springs
Located in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs area. This restaurant offers amazing comfort food inspired dishes!
#1 went to Via Napoli in Epcot’s World Showcase
Via Napoli is and amazing restaurant in the Italy section of the World Showcase. It features “Hearty pastas, wood-fired pizzas and other Southern Italian favorites fill the menu at Via Napoli in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion. This casual and family-friendly eatery also serves Italian wines, beers (by the pint or pitcher) and specialty cocktails.”
Personally, I like their ovens!
Universal also scored two places on the top 10!
#9 Three Broomsticks at Universal Hollywood
This is counter service location that offers pub style foods themed to Harry Potter of course.
#4 The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar at Universal CityWalk
This is very unique place that offers custom burgers or sushi, or a fusion of both. Yes…you an try a Burushi!

I do have to take a moment to appreciate that the #2 spot belongs to Cesari’s Pizza at Knoebels! Woot! Knoebels is one of our favorite PA parks! We can’t recommend it enough and I wanted to give them a special shout out!
