Hasbro Pulse is now taking pre-orders for a triple pack of X-Force heroes. We’re going old school with this one. Get ready for a blast from the past with classic versions of Domino, Cannonball, and Rictor. This trio is sporting their classic costumes, classic colors, and packaging featuring the classic X-MEN trading cards.
Domino’s past remains a mystery, but the few facts that are known prove her to be a courageous fighter and a loyal friend. Rictor possesses the mutant power to generate concussive waves of vibration. Cannonball can propel himself through the air at fantastic speeds, and, while doing so, his “blast field” renders him impervious to pain.
Here’s what will be included in the triple pack:
- Includes X-Force members Marvel’s Domino, Rictor, and Marvel’s Cannonball
- 10 Accessories
The three figures are sporting their looks from the early 1990s, though Cannonball’s colors are a bit more muted than how he appears in print. Domino, like Cannonball and Rictor, is sporting her early X-Force costume. In reality, this is just a slight modification from her first appearance getup. Sadly, she does not come with an alternate head without the face sidebar thing.
All three made their action-figure debut in the Toy Biz X-Men and X-Force lines. However, Rictor had the strangest action feature. His torso, including his head, was all one piece, and he had a windup dial on his side. The action feature? He vibrated. Yup. That’s it. He just vibrated on the table and fell over.
Domino’s retro figure came with some guns. Nothing too exciting. Cannonball, aside from sporting his pink flight suit, came with a small launching platform which I believe was reused from either Invisible Woman or another X-MEN figure.
This three-pack is limited to two-per-customer and will run $62.99. March 2022 is the expected release date. Pre-orders are open now.
