If you’re ready for a great time and a unique Disney experience, you do not have to wait much longer for Chip and Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long to return to Walt Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

Returning July 6th, this nighttime show includes interactions and meet and greets with these nutty two chipmunks, Chip and Dale. They lead guests along with the assistance of a singing and guitar playing cowboy in a Campfire Sing-A-Long. This entertainment activity has not operated since the closure of the Walt Disney World Resort in 2020, but it returns July 6th! The roasting of s’mores had returned previously without the Campfire Sing-A-Long.

Disney’s website describes this fun time as Joining “nutty friends Chip ‘n’ Dale for a nightly campfire celebration, followed by a classic Disney movie under the stars.”  The movies change each night and are posted at the resort for the guests to plan their night.

S’mores are a great addition to this nighttime celebration as there is a fire pit made for roasting s’mores during the sing-a-long.  Guests are free to bring their own supplies to roast s’mores or they can purchase a S’mores Kit from the Chuckwagon Snack Bar.  The last price for the S’mores kit was $9.99 and included all you need to roast up some s’mores.

I have personally participated in this experience before the pandemic closed Walt Disney World, and my kids, family, and I had a great time.  The kids were able to interact with the characters of Chip and Dale, sing along with the cowboy, and roast s’mores.  We also stayed back and enjoyed the movie, Tangled when the campfire was over.

This is a free event open to guests of all ages, and I highly recommend going over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground to participate!  The only cost would be buying your supplies for s’mores or purchasing the S’mores Kit.
