We’ve got more pics from our friend Jen Combs. Last time it was Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, this time we’ve got new 50th Anniversary statues to show you! Sculptures spanning all different areas of the Walt Disney Company’s past are being represented here. The figures appear to be bronze, but it is hard to tell for sure.
The statues on display as of this weekend include Pua & Heihe, Olaf (and a hidden Pascal), Rocket & Groot, Miguel & Dante, and the most essential character in all of EPCOT: Figment!
Also, we snapped a few pictures of that controversial Mickey Mouse mural. It is a real thing, but luckily, there’s another one in the same area dedicated to classic Mickey. I’ve personally dubbed the weird one Ricky Rat. Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I personally love the old Silly Symphonies, Mickey.
Thanks again to Jen Combs for taking these pictures during her visit to EPCOT.
What are your thoughts on the statues and murals? What characters from Walt Disney’s past should get their likenesses cast in bronze? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
