Cabana Bay Exclusive Halloween Horror Nights Walk-Through Attraction Announced

In a pattern that fits recent years of Halloween Horror Nights, Halloween Horror Nights announced, via social media, that an exclusive resort guest photo experience will return for 2022. This year, the theme for this walk-through attraction will be “Universal Monsters Gallery of Legends.” On previous years, resort guests have gotten to experience photo opportunities pertaining to Stranger Things franchise or Jack the Clown.

Though we do not have all the details at this point, we know this walk-through attraction will be open from September 2nd until October 31st. Halloween Horror Nights declared on social media that guests would be able to pose for photos at this Universal Monster Gallery of Legends. They describe it as an immersive themed experience featuring The Wolf Man, Dracula, and The Mummy.

This walk-through attraction officially will be exclusive to Universal Orlando hotel guests. In the past, this policy has been loose and then sometime very tight. For example, I experienced the “Jack’s Up Experience” last year on several occasions. Most of the time, only guests staying at the Universal Orlando Resort hotels were allowed to enter the attraction. However, one evening, anyone was allowed entry. One another afternoon, Cabana Bay guests got priority over all other Universal Orlando guests. I was staying at Cabana Bay, so I got to go to the head of line like I had express pass. Last year, guests staying at Cabana Bay were supposed to get a priority lane, but this was not always in use. As they say, your mileage may vary.

Jack’d Up experience 2021

If you plan to experience this photo attraction, then I have a few suggestions. One, if going on September 2nd, expect there to be a longer queue. Only a certain number of people will be allowed in at a time. In previous years, the queue reached the longest level on opening day. Two, though we do not have these details yet, expect the attraction to open around 2pm each day. Third, this experience is located on the second floor of the lobby building in the recreation center area. For those unfamiliar with Cabana Bay, this is an area with a bowling alley, game room, and fitness center.

Halloween Horror Nights also announced that the “Spooky Swizzle Lounge” at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort will return for 2022. Anyone can come enjoy some beverages in this setting. Last year, this involved some decorations and props along with some themed beverages. If you want to read more about last year’s walk-through attraction, I wrote about it last year. Enjoy the spooky!
