The Book of Boba Fett is the first spin-off show to the popular The Mandalorian series on Disney Plus, with  Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic also on the way. Boba Fett’s return was quite a surprise to many fans since the last time we saw him was in 1983’s Return of the Jedi where he got eaten by the Sarlacc Pit. But his return was planned as The Mandalorian was originally meant to be a solo Boba Fett film as part of the “Star Wars Story” series of spin-off films. Sadly, after the 2018 film Solo bombed hard at the box office all plans for the film were shelved and the project reworked into the show we have today.

In a recent interview actor Temuera Morrision, who originally played Jango Fett in 2002’s Attack of the Clones and is now playing Boba Fett, revealed some new details about the upcoming series:

“In the series, Boba Fett is in revenge mode. He will be going after everyone who did him wrong in the past, and he will also be looking for the other bounty hunters. And even more — he will be doing it with a new look to his armor!”

With these new details we can probably assume Boba Fett will acquire some new armor pieces or alterations to his current armor along his journey. Whenever you’re on a job you’ve got to be ready for any competition that may be willing to kill you if you aren’t careful. We can also assume that if Boba will have multiple different looking outfits we will definitely see some action figures of the various incarnations of the character.

The series is set to release in Late 2021 exclusively on Disney Plus. Are you excited to see the Bounty Hunter return?
