Blizzard Beach Reopening on March 7 Tickets Still Available

As we mentioned before Blizzard Beach is reopening on March 7th and Disney wants people to know that tickets are still available for purchase.  So here’s a refresher.

Available tickets options:

One-Day Water Park Ticket (without blockout dates) Adult $69 + tax and Child (ages 3-9) $63 + tax.

One-Day Water Park Ticket (with blockout dates) Adult $64 + tax and Child (ages 3-9) $58.00 + tax.

Currently you do not need a Park Pass Reservation to go to Blizzard Beach, but that could change as it gets busier.

Block out dates are “…for admission prior to March 7, 2021 and May 29 to October 3, 2021.” So basically is you buy a block out date ticket you can’t use the parks all summer long. Seems like a great way to get people to pay $5 extra per ticket. Thankfully it isn’t that much of a difference so I would just pay for the no blockout dates ticket.

Tickets can be purchased online at Disneyworld.com and will remain valid through Dec. 31, 2021. If you’re planning a 2021 Disney vacation or a day trip to Disney’s Blizzard Beach, now is the perfect time to get your Disney Water Park tickets.

When Blizzard Beach reopens you will be expected to follow the guidelines and health and safety protocols like you would at any of the parks. Disney is reducing capacity, requiring temperature screenings, physical distancing and face coverings.

Here is the information from the Walt Disney World site:

Like the other areas of Walt Disney World Resort, we will welcome back Guests and Cast Members to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park in a responsible way, with a plan focused on health and well-being. When Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopens, it will operate in alignment with the health and safety protocols implemented throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, including reduced capacity, temperature screenings, physical distancing markings and face coverings. Face coverings will be required in designated areas for each Guest age 2 and up, including but not limited to the park entrance and exit, retail areas, and food and beverage ordering areas. Face coverings will not be permitted while experiencing water slides or in the water. You may also remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

At this time a park reservation is not required to visit a water park, however, reservation requirements are subject to change. Water parks are subject to rehabilitation, seasonal, weather and capacity closures.
