File this under “please be true!” According to ET Canada, Bette Midler has told Fox 5 Good Day New York that she as well as Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker are all interested and have said “Yes” to returning for a Hocus Pocus sequel.
While speaking with Fox 5 about her virtual New York Restoration Project event “In Search of the Sanderson Sisters” Ms. Midler said:
“They want to make a movie. They asked us if we were interested and of course all of us said “yeah.” But we are, I mean I’m game, I’m totally game.”
So you heard it here. The gals want to come back for another film. We already know that that Disney is working on another ‘Hocus Pocus’ film. But them wanting to come back and actually getting to come back are two different things. Let’s hope they get to come back.
It would be a really poor idea to do it without the Sanderson sisters. Fans really want this.
But until then you can catch the reunion of the Sanderson Sisters and other celebrity guests and cast members if you watch the virtual “In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover” event for the New York Restoration Project on October 30th.
