Best Burgers At Universal Orlando CityWalk

As you may know, September 18th, 2021, is the highly regarded national holiday known as National Cheeseburger Day. Yes, this holiday is not a true holiday. Perhaps as a true burger fan you want to celebrate it. Universal Orlando is a great place to enjoy a burger. Surprisingly, the high-quality burgers will not wreck your budget too much either.

I have one very important world of warning! Please do not go to an Orlando area theme park and look for high quality burgers in the park. There are exceptions at Walt Disney World.https://www.piratesandprincesses.net/burger-suggestions-at-walt-disney-world-theme-parks-for-national-burger-day-on-september-18/

and at Universal Orlando https://www.piratesandprincesses.net/dining-review-of-wimpys-burger-at-universal-orlando/ but not many. However, Universal Orlando CityWalk has several good options that I would like to suggest for this food-based holiday or any day.

My first suggestion is obvious. You can’t have a signature song about a cheeseburger without adding it to the menu for your restaurant, right?

The Cheeseburger in Paradise from Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is the safest choice of these suggestions. This will always be good burger. It may not be great or life-changing, but it also will not disappoint a burger fan.

Orlando Magazine once voted this burger best in Orlando. This burger comes with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and “paradise sauce” on a brioche bun. In May 2021, I upgraded this burger to include bacon for only 50 cents more. You also can choose fries or a salad. I selected a salad, and it was surprisingly good. The burger was fine, but the themed seating experience on the patio with live music is undoubtedly also part of this burger’s allure.

In 2019, CityWalk added a new full-service dining option known as Bigfire. This American fare restaurant uses many types of wood to create a smoky flavor to their entrees.

A quality burger option here is the Signature Bison Burger which is served on a “branded” brioche bun. The burger is topped with red wine aioli, caramelized onions, and beer cheese sauce. This burger receives high marks unless you are not a fan of smoky flavored meat.

I have enjoyed burgers in CityWalk at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, Hard Rock Café, and NBC Sports Grill and Brew. Even Bubba Gump’s is getting on this holiday with a special burger I may try this week. Yet, there is one place with a highly rated burger in CityWalk that I have not enjoyed. Honestly, I am not sure my past middle-aged stomach can handle it! However, if you are a fan of burgers, this option should be considered.

In this homage to Elvis, you can experience a full-pound beef burger with creamy peanut butter, fried bananas, applewood bacon on a brioche bun. You can also get a half pound version, if desired for a few dollars less. Yes, fries are included. This burger is for extreme burger fans only and one you should eat at your own risk if you’re not a fan of heavy meals in the Florida heat.

I have not decided which burger I plan to enjoy this National Burger Day yet. However, Universal Orlando CityWalk has a wide variety of options to satisfy your culinary desires.
