Another day, another layoff announcement. This information comes from WDWMagic and elaborates on more of the 28,000 layoffs coming to the Walt Disney Company.
This all comes from a filing with the state that Disney did. It discloses that these were furloughs that have transferred into permanent layoffs. WDWNT has posted that under the “Baggage Airline Guests Services Department’ are the luggage services that send bags to the Walt Disney World Hotels and does include Disney’s Magical Express.
I’m sure we will learn more and more about what departments are impacted as the year progresses. I do wonder what parts will be addressed during the Investors Call on November 12th.
