Avengers Campus Cast Member / Campus Representative Costumes Have Been Revealed!

The Disney Parks Blog has just given us a look at the upcoming Avengers Campus costumes. The new area of Disney California Adventure will open to the general public on June 4th!

Joe Kucharski, Senior Costume Designer wanted the costumes to pay a part in the land.

Our cast members play a unique part in the guest experience. These costumes are designed to help them embody their role in this epic story.”

Here’s a video of the costumes:

Let’s take a closer look!

Among the Cast Members you will find in the Avengers Campus area are the “Campus Representatives.”  Their costumes are inspired by the location within the campus.

“Campus Representatives at WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and WEB Suppliers will wear pieces that feature modern, techy emblems and materials made of lightweight, breathable fabrics with stretch for movement and flexibility.”

I do worry that they might blend in and make it harder for guests to identify them.

Pym Test Kitchen

Pym Test Kitchen featuring IMPOSSIBLE, Campus Representatives will feature outfits that seem like they from a science lab, which fits the theming. These costumes will feature the “Pym pocket protector, lab coat, hat and tie. Giving a nod to the growing and shrinking science used to create shareable bites and sweets at this location, these costumes feature a large “Pym Particle” on the hat and much smaller pattern on the tie.

The Campus Headquarters Uniform

These uniforms will feature a tactical-inspired vest, cargo pants and a training shirt.

Ancient Sanctum

The costumes for this location features layers apparently.

At the Ancient Sanctum, costumes layer unique pieces that cast a dramatic silhouette with rich textures and sewing techniques inspired by the Mystic Arts.”

I think it fits, but I’m waiting for complaints about “cultural appropriation” and I’m not kidding.

Food Carts

There are two outfits for the food carts at the Avengers Campus.  One will be for the Terran Treats cart, near Guardians of the Galaxy- Mission: BREAKOUT! and one will be for the Shawarma Palace cart.
