Dance your cares away. Use the trial period so you can pay Apple another day. Watch the Fraggles play as they return to Fraggle Rock.
In two months Jim Henson’s tiny musical creatures will return after a 35-year hiatus, appearing exclusively on Apple TV. While the Fraggles have made short appearances on the platform recently, this will be the first time they’ll have their show back in full with the Doozers in tow.
Apple TV’s Twitter account released a small teaser featuring the Fraggles and their iconic theme song. Gobo, Mokey, Wembley, Boober, and Red are all back. Mokey is sporting a bit of a hipster hairstyle this time, which honestly makes sense. Everyone else seems like they haven’t changed at all. Sadly, we don’t see the Doozers, except for their monorail, or the Gorgs, or Marjory the Trash Heap.
🎶Let the music play…🎶

Apple TV still offers a seven-day trial of the service, with a subscription starting at $4.99 per month. It’s the perfect way to get that little bit of nostalgia without having to sign up for yet another subscription service. This will also allow you to see if the kids’ show has retained subtle social commentary or if it is now as subtle as a Gorg’s fart in an echoey tunnel.
What are your thoughts on the return of Fraggle Rock? Will it retain its innocent yet positive progressive message, or is it destined to end up like another victim of writers using a show as a therapy session? Let us know in the comments.
