There’s no denying that coronavirus screenings are a pain. A sadly necessary pain at the moment. Nonetheless, it’s something that hampers travel and basic things like shopping. If you’re traveling somewhere with lots of out-of-towners, you may be grateful for the screenings. We here in Florida do see a number of people coming and going.

One such individual decided that he was not one to trifle with the inconvenience. No. He had paid his money according to USA Today. He was going to have fun on Disney property and no safety protocols were gonna stop that. Or so he thought.

Kelly Sills from Lousinanna allegedly paid $15,000 for his trip to Walt Disney World. Oh, and he has said he owns stock in the company. He also made the statement, “you can’t trespass if you’re paying $15,000.” An Orange County Sheriff’s officer didn’t see it that way.

The incident occurred when Sills was attempting to patron a restaurant at Disney Springs. There are checkpoints all over Disney properties that check for temperatures. This restaurant happened to be one of them. Sills wasn’t having it.

He bypassed the screening area and planted himself inside The Boathouse. Like any good squatter, Sills refused to leave. He cared not that he was on private property. So, the police had to be alerted. Would the menace listen to reason? Check out the video:

Andrea Finger, a Disney spokeswoman, didn’t mince words about guests who act up in this fashion. “Millions of guests visit our theme parks each year, and in rare instances when things of this nature occur, we hold them accountable,” she said.
